Thanks to all participants of the Run and Gun 3v3 League. Coach Ellsworth and I plan on running the league again next summer. It was nice to get our players on the ice during the summer. Best of luck to all the players as they start school and fall sports. We'll see everybody in the rink soon enough.

3v3 Rules & Guidelines
3v3 Run & Gun Summer League Rules
1.
Games are 15 minutes running time
2.
Each team will
play 3 games each session
3.
Change on the fly
– try to keep shifts 45-55 seconds.
Coaches will talk with players who stay on ice too long
4.
Players will form
the boards by aligning across the blue line and keep puck in. Enter game from middle and exit at the ends.
5.
Our goalies are
Tucker, Justin, Kamm and Lewis – goalies need to notify me if they are not
going to make it so I can hopefully find an alternate for that week. Please let me know early in the week.
6.
We will have
approximately 13 minutes of extra time after the 3 games – We will play full
ice during that time.
7.
No HITTING! This is a skill development league. No open ice hits. Players can battle and jostle on the boards
but there is no hitting.
8.
Ties stay ties
until the last night.
9.
Penalties are
penalty shots.
10.
After goals are
scored coaches will throw new puck in to keep play going. A faceoff will start each game. If goalies cover puck opponents must give the
goalie space to play the puck.
11. Coaches Clark and Ellsworth reserve the right to make trades during the first skate or so.
